Specialised counselling for young people
Young people can be vulnerable to homelessness if there is ongoing conflict at home. Counselling can be an effective way to prevent this by supporting family members to reconnect.
We offer counselling for young people who are homeless, have left home prematurely, or are at risk of becoming homeless. Young people aged 12 to 17 and their family members can access this service.
As well as support to improve relationships, we can also encourage young people to remain involved in education, training, work and their wider community.
Our services also include:
assessment
case management
information and education
This program operates throughout metropolitan Adelaide and the lower Limestone Coast region. We can also visit young people and their families in their local community.
